2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E in Wadesboro, NC
The Ford Mustang Mach-E offers the best of both worlds. It's a crossover SUV with lots of features and equipment, and it has an efficient electric powertrain. 2023 marks the third model year for the Mustang Mach-E, and it arrives with an increase in range for the Premium trim and more standard features, including Ford's Co-Pilot360 for every trim level. A new Mustang Nite Pony package is now available for some trims, and there are some new exterior color options.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The entry-level Mach-E Select comes with 18-inch wheels, a fixed-glass panoramic roof, and keyless entry. Stepping up to the California Route 1 adds 18-inch black painted wheels, black exterior trim, and power-folding, heated side exterior mirrors. The Premium has 19-inch wheels and a hands-free liftgate, and if you choose the GT, you'll get 20-inch wheels, red brake calipers, a sport-tuned suspension, a black grille, a black-painted roof, and a black grille.
Engine (Power)
Power for the Select starts with one or two electric motors that generate 266 horsepower. The California Route 1 adds an extended-range battery and gets 346 horsepower. The Premium can use the same motors and battery as the Select, or you can opt for an extended-range battery. Combined with one motor, it gets 290 horsepower, and with two motors, it generates 346. The GT is the most powerful trim with its 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
If you want to maximize range, the Mach-E California Route 1 will go up to 312 miles on a full charge. The Premium with the extended range battery has a 303-mile range, and the Select can go up to 247 miles. The GT has the lowest range, but if you have the Performance Edition, when you press on the accelerator, it will propel the car up to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. The other models still have enough power to get the Mach-E to 60 mph in as little as 6.1 seconds.
Interior
There's room for up to five people in the Mach-E. The Select has simulated leather upholstery and a power-adjustable driver's seat. You'll get driver's seat memory settings in the California Route 1, along with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The Premium adds to this with a power-adjustable passenger seat and ambient lighting.
Technology features start with a 15.5-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo, and wireless charging. It also comes standard with navigation and a digital instrument panel. The Premium upgrades the stereo to a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen system.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Mustang Mach-E has the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of advanced driver aids. It comes with adaptive cruise control, a frontal collision mitigation system, lane-centering, rear parking sensors, and automatic high-beam headlights. It also has a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert. The higher trims add a 360-degree surround-view camera and Ford's BlueCruise hands-free driving system. This works on several thousand miles of highways across the U.S., allowing drivers to let their Mach-E take over some of the driving as long as they pay attention.
