Located three miles from downtown, this 190-acre municipal lake offers visitors a chance to boat, fish, and picnic. Boat rentals are available for a low rate, and a playground is on the premises where little ones can play. Seasonal operations are from March through the third week of October, and the park is open on Friday through Sunday during that period. Visitors may reserve picnic tables, and charcoal grills are available for cooking.
