2. City Pond
City Pond, also known as City Pond Park among locals, is Wadesboro’s scenic 190-acre municipal lake. The beautiful tree-lined lake is a peaceful and picturesque spot, especially in fall when the leaves change color. Here you can paddle on the lake, wet your hook, and relax in the shade of the trees. You can cast your line from the bank to reel in bass, bream, crappie, and catfish or rent a boat to spend the day on the water.
